Banknote 2 guilders 01.11.1923 , a variety with the asterisk at the end of the numbering turned 90' - issued by the Danzig Central Bank.
This is one of the denominations of the so-called guilder transitional currency, where the 2 guilders with November date is considered one of the rarest banknotes of Gdansk, sought after regardless of the state of preservation, here at the auction for the first time offered on the Polish market in an unprecedented, unique, issue condition.
In addition to its excellent and, in the case of this banknote, unique condition, it has a feature that is strongly appreciated by advanced collectors, it is a beautiful embossing on the reverse side of the main printing itself, as well as the numbering overprint, these features undoubtedly testify to the naturalness of this banknote.
This is an exquisite natural piece, with excellent presentation, with intensely saturated print color, confirmed bythe high grading note of PMG.No EPQ probably due to the presence of an ink bank stamp on the reverse: "Danziger Zentralkasse A.G.". This is a feature of the issuer of these banknotes, which was nailed quite often on the unprinted sides of banknotes of this issue, acceptable to advanced collectors, unlike the"Üngulig" banknote cancellation stamp.
In the PMG population, the denomination 2 guilders 01.11.1923, occurs only in the number of 5 pieces, the banknote of the auction is the highest graded and with this bill PMG 64 appears as the only one (MAX ONE), the next in order of grading is PMG 53.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

This is the bill you wait years for, often in the course of all collecting activity the opportunity to buy such a unique piece comes only once.
