Biography
A painter primarily associated with the Warsaw art scene. At the beginning of the 20th century, she studied at the Académie Julian in Paris. She exhibited her works in Vilnius and, above all, in Warsaw. From 1925 onward, she was a member of the local Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. She created atmospheric portraits of women, most often using pastels and watercolors. The style of her works drew directly on intimate portraits in the Art Nouveau spirit, characterized by fluid lines and subtle colors. Her compositions also reveal the influence of the sensual depictions of women painted by Franciszek Żmurka.
