Biography
2013 is by far one of the best vintages for Masseto. What sets it apart is the striking balance between the cool elegance of the coastal habitat and the full ripeness of the fruit, the powerful and full body, and the intensity and expressiveness. Rich texture, and crystal clear aromas precisely arranged side by side. Around the time of the creation of this wine, Masseto lived to see its own winery and became an independent entity, previously associated with Ornellaia. There is no doubt that the character of the terroir and the class of the wine deserve to be a soloist.
