Guy Berthaut et ses Fils, Fixin 0.75L 12% 1978 vintage. Berthaut-Gerbet (formerly known as Domaine Berthaut) is a wine producer based in Fixin in the Côte de Nuits sub-region of Burgundy. The winery is run by a married couple, Amélie Berthaut and Nicolas Faure. The vineyards cover about 18 hectares with plots in Fixin and Vosne-Romanée. Two grands crus are produced: the Clos de Vougeot and the Echezeaux. Most of the crop is Pinot Noir, with Chardonnay and Aligoté in small quantities. Estimated price: £615-675
