Soft lines appear on the surface of the featured painting, which, although
non-representational - form the outline of a woman's breast. This barely graspable
motif introduces an element of corporeality into the cosmic space, suggesting connections
between that which is human and that which transcends individual experience. The figure
can be read as an echo of ancient images of the divine, a symbol of the
of the caring, creative force of nature of which we are a part.
Combined with the vast structure of the sky and the line of constellations, the subtle presence of the female
form emphasizes the idea of coexistence - of matter and spirit, of the individual and the universe, of what,
what is fragile and what is unchanging.
The painting is in keeping with the artist's intention, who emphasizes that the works in the series are not
abstractions, but the result of studies from nature. The fixed line of the constellation Capricorn,
placed against the background of the changing sky, becomes a symbol of the balance between
permanence and constant change. Confronting the fragility of human existence with the power of the
of the cosmos leads Rzepecki to reflect:
"I paint the stars at night, noticing what I could not see before."
