Graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, in the Workshop Printmaking Studio of Prof. Krzysztof Wawrzyniak (2008). She made an annex to her diploma in the Painting Studio under the direction of Prof. Richard Hunger. She participated in the graphic design workshops at the "Kaus"Artistic Graphics Center in Urbino (2006-2007), where she received a one-month scholarship. She works in painting, printmaking and drawing. In 2011, she was nominated for an award in the XXIV International Biennial of Small Graphic Forms and Exlibris in Ostrow Wielkopolski, and in 2017 she was a finalist in the 43rd Biennial of Painting "Bielska Autumn". Zalewska's work is a combination of careful, precise technique with an oneiric, surreal vision of reality full of fairy-tale motifs, metaphors and archetypal representations. Her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad, including France, Great Britain and the United States.
